Obituary of Sherwin Hill Jr. Sherwin Hill Jr, 51, passed away on January 17, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on September 7, 1967, the son of Sherwin and Ruth Thomas Hill. Sherwin was a graduate of LaFayette High School.

After school he enlisted in the United States Army, Sherwin went on to work at the Turningstone Resort and Casino after his discharge. He was predeceased by his sister Leigh Ann Hill Lyons. Surviving are his parents, his sister; Sherri Hill, son; Ryan (Ashley) Hill, daughters; Sara and Dana Hill, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM on Tuesday, January 22nd at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 2584 Field Lane, LaFayette, NY. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1 PM. Burial will be in Onondaga Nation Cemetery.
