OBITUARY Shirley Ann Cashion January 29, 1928 – January 5, 2019 Shirley Ann Cashion, age 90, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019. Shirley was born on January 29, 1928 and lived in Oklahoma City her entire life. Shirley attended Oklahoma City University, and worked at Kimray Corp, General Electric, Honeywell and at the State Capital, as well as helping her daughter, Carla, for many years in her giftware business.

She was a longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and a member of Red Hats, served at the Medical Research Foundation and Junior Hospitality League. Shirley enjoyed cake decorating, dancing and performing, playing bridge and volunteering. Her many achievements included professional cake decorator, fashion model and executive secretary.

Shirley will always be remembered for her love of family, fun and her generosity towards others. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Boone Bennett; her husband, Edward Hilliard Cashion, whom she was married to for 60 years; and siblings, Jean Joy Bennett, Boyd Bennett, Robert Bennett, Patricia Bennett Anderson, and Betty Boone Bennett. Shirley is survived by her daughter, Carla Cashion Wells and her husband, Keith; son, Edward H Cashion Jr; grandchildren, Jeremy M Grace, Ludy Grace, Cristina M Borow, James Borow, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sister-in-laws in Oklahoma, Texas and around the country, as well as foreign nations.

A private gravesite service is scheduled on Wednesday January 9, 2019.
