Shirley’s Obituary Shirley Ann (Snider) Ellis, 67, of Valley View, Texas passed away on February 24, 2019 in Denton, Texas. Born on August 18, 1951, she was the daughter of Edwin L. and Betty Jean (Van Ness) Snider. Shirley graduated from high school in 1969 in Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma State University and obtained her degree in Radiology from The University of Oklahoma and was a member of the Alpha Ki Omega Sorority.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Valley View. Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her daughter Heather Kemp of Valley View; a son Jimmy Ellis of Valley View; two sisters Suzy Vowels of Weatherford and Sandy Reimer of Medford, OK; two brothers Steve Snider and Scott Snider both of Oklahoma City, OK and five grandchildren. Memorial services for Shirley were held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Valley View with Pastor Glen Kersey officiating.
