Shirley Ann Schwab, 77, of 33 Keith Ave. Oil City, PA. passed away Tuesday Oct.
2, 2018 at 12:48 A.M. Born March 14, 1941 on her grandparents farm in Fryburg, PA. , she was the daughter of the late Sylvester & Ardell McCauley Gifford. Shirley had worked as a bank teller for Northwest Bank for many years.
She was married on April 12, 1968 to Dennis W. Schwab and he survives. Shirley had been the treasurer for Keystone Goldwings. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, bowling and playing bingo.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 3 children Thomas Schwab & his wife Tammy of Oil City Bobbi Axtell of Greenville Brian Schwab & his wife Wendy of Germantown, MD 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren also survive with another expected in December. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law Cris Axtell Their will be no viewing or visitation. Interment will be made at the Venus Cemetery with her family.
