Shirley’s Obituary Shirley Arlene Bailes, 82, of Charleston, WV passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Kanawha Place. She was born on August 22, 1936 in Servia, WV to the late Everett Morris and Ethel (Vanburen) Morris. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

She leaves to cherish her memory; daughter, Carita Stricker (Dan); son, Rodney Bailes (Laura) and one sister, Joann Given. Also, surviving are her 6 grandchildren: Curtis, Alex, Christi, Aaron, Craig and Sara; and 3 great-grandchildren. Shirley’s family would love to give a sincere Thank You to all of her caregivers and to the staff at Kanawha Place.
