Shirley Faye Lowe, age 65, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019 at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Lowe was born in La Porte, Indiana on October 19, 1953. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.W. Hammond and Josephine Duncan Hammonds; husband, Alvin Lowe; and brother, Alan Duncan and Wallace {Bim} Scarbro.

She is survived by her children, Brandy Kreis, Mitchell Kreis and wife Tasha and Jason Lowe and wife Kara and Meghan Lowe; grandchildren, Nicholas and Jonathan Hughes, Connor and Riley Lowe, Zane Caldwell, Levi and Leah Kreis; sisters, Jean Scarbro, Marylin Walter and Linda Pansy Gail Brewer; several nieces and nephews. Arrangements: The family will receive friends on Monday, May 13, 2019, at Thurman Funeral Home in Sparta, TN from 11:00 am till 12:00 pm. The service will be held on Monday, May 13, 2019, at 12:00 pm at Thurman Funeral Home in Sparta, TN and officiating will be Bro.

Jason Lewis. Interment will follow in the Old Bon Air Cemetery. Thurman Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
