Of New London, age 82, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018. She was born and raised in Monta Vista, Colorado to the late Carl and Hazel (Clark) Hurley. Shirley moved to Wisconsin in 1999 and worked at Time Away Bar in New London and then Red Banks in Fremont.

She also worked through Outagamie County Services at Subways in Fremont and then Bear Creek. She will be sadly missed by her daughter: Hazel “Kitty” (Russell) Wohlrabe; grandchildren: Tina (Tim) Grosshiem; Shannon (Donald) Wohlrabe; David (Amanda Haack) Loux; Shane Wohlrabe; great grandchildren: Jake (Sabrina) Wohlrabe, Dakota Wohlrabe, Heather Wohlrabe, Anthony Laux, Krystalle Wohlrabe, Tawsha Wohlrabe, Chris (Alexus) Middleton, Jayden Diehl Loux, Kialie Wohlrabe, Tiffany Wohlrabe, Ashton Wohlrabe, Jase Wohlrabe, great great grandchildren: Ivan, Liam and Braxton Wohlrabe and Arabelle Loux, sisters: Lorna Rae Hazelwood; Marian Lee (Dale) Welch; Doris Ann Merwin; Molly (Jeff) Lohse; Katy East and Sharon Hurley; brothers: Darrol and Curtis Hurley; special friend: Misty Peterson; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brother, Charles Hazelwood and sisters, Charlotte Barlson and Barbara Jo Brunson.

The Funeral Service will be on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 6 p.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca. The visitation will be on Monday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
