Shirley L. Hudson 84 of Hammondsville, Ohio passed away Friday, May 10, 2019 at Valley Hospice Care Center, Steubenville. She was born March 18, 1935 in Richmond, Ohio a daughter of the late Bernard “Pat” and Sarah Ann (Cutlip) McCourt. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hudson.

She was a longtime member of New Somerset United Methodist Church where she held many offices and was a treasurer for over ten years. She is survived by her son, David (Lisa) Hudson and daughter, Anna Hudson; grandsons, Jacob (Melissa) Hudson and Steven (Greg) Hudson; six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd.

,Wintersville on Monday from 1-3 and 6-8 PM and again on Tuesday from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM with Pastor Rick Dawson officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery. Send condolences online at www.
