Shirley Hutchinson, 81, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 4, 2019, with her husband, Winford (Wimpy), at her side. She was born in Smithville, Ohio and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. She moved to Odem, Texas in 1960 with her husband where she raised her family.

She was a loving wife and mother. Shirley is survived by her husband, Wimpy Hutchinson; sons Ron (Marie) Hutchinson; David (Sharon) Hutchinson, Mickey Hutchinson; her three grandchildren, Kevin, Austin and Callie Hutchinson; and numerous nephews and nieces. Shirley is also survived by sisters Mary (Tom) Balthrop and Janet (Gilbert) Oelschlegel; and brother George (Juanita) Fike.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mildred Fike; brothers Harry Fike, Jr. and Willard (Anna) Fike; and sisters Patricia (Ted) Johnson; Evelyn (Lester) Boyd; and Betty (Carl) Boyd. Family will accept visitors at Resthaven Funeral Home, 606 S. San Patricio, Sinton, Texas from 6-8 pm on Friday, May 10. Funeral service will be held at 10am at First Baptist Church, 307 W. Turner Street, Odem, Texas.

Graveside services to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Odem, Texas. A luncheon reception will follow at the First Baptist Church after the graveside services. Guestbook available online at www.
