Shirley J. Hayes, age 81, of Council Bluffs, passed away at her home on May 4, 2019. Shirley was born May 24, 1937 in Villisca, Iowa to the late Charlie and Dora (Andersen) Stevenson. She attended Villisca, Iowa High School.

Shirley married Fred Hayes on August 14, 1955 in Villisca, Iowa. They were blessed with six children. Shirley was a homemaker and a clerk for the Federal Reserve Bank for 16 years, retiring in 2001.
