Shirley Jean Baker September 14, 1925 – January 30, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Shirley Jean Baker, 93, of Du Quoin, passed away at 6:36 A.M., Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the Fairview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Du Quoin. Shirley had been a seamstress at Country Set. She was of the Christian faith.

She was born September 14, 1925 at Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Louis Carl and Leona (Rice) Baker. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers – Jackie Louis Baker and James Carl Baker.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, February 1, 2019 at the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin with Rev. Gary Darnell officiating. Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin. Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin is in charge of arrangements.
