Obituary for Shirley Ruth Neeley Stone Shirley Ruth Neeley Stone was born on September 15, 1935. On May 5, 2018 at the age of 82, she left this world to go home to be with her family and friends who have gone on before her. She lived in Nashville, Tn.

at the time of her going home. She was originally from Marshall County, Alabama. She attended school in Guntersville and Albertville.

She loved doing puzzles and canvas work. She also loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her son, Neil was with her when she went home.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Christine Neeley, grandparents, Evelyn and George Neeley, and her husband of nine and half years, Lamar Stone. She is survived by her sons, Neil Stone of Nashville, Tn. and Richard T. Davis of Memphis, Tn.

, and daughter, Linda Jane Davis of Columbia, Ms., seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev.

Wayne Roden will officiate. Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Wednesday before the service from 12:30 until 1:45.
