He has been a coalminer. He was preceded in death by his daughter Marlinda Michelle Lee Smith; sister Rhonda Mills and brother-in-law Mickey Mills. Survivors include his parents Alvie Smith Jr., and Fronda Smith; children Angel Smith and Joshua Smith; brothers Alvie Smith Jr., sisters Linda Byrd, Regina Mills, Tammy (Charlie) Miller, Rebecca (Richie) Shackleford and special sister Mary Smith; special niece Kristie (David) English.
A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, November 2, 2018 at 2PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Wagner, Rev.
Carl Jones and Rev. Joe Jones; burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery, Arjay, KY. The family will receive friends after 12 noon on Friday, November 2 , 2018 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home until the funeral hour at 2PM.
