OBITUARY Simon Castillo Velasquez Sr. November 26, 1943 – December 10, 2018 Simon Castillo Velasquez Sr. of Houston, Texas passed away on Monday December 10, 2018. Simon was a native Houstonian born on November 26, 1943. He is preceded in death by his former wives’ and the mother’s to his children, Emma Jean (Montero) Velasquez and Gloria (Gracia) Velasquez; his parents, David and Luisa (Castillo) Velasquez; sister, Juanita Pantoja.

Simon is survived by his sons, Simon Velasquez, Jr. and wife Monica, Charles Ray Velasquez, Victor David Velasquez and wife Cherise, Sevin Luis Velasquez and wife Mirna Chrystal. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Nicholas Velasquez, Christopher Velasquez, Izabelle Luiza Velasquez, Simon Joseph Velasquez, III, Alana Simone Velasquez, Sevin Cole Velasquez and Zayne Luke Velasquez; and his sisters; Ofelia Martinez, Theresa Pineda, Mary De La Garza and Dodie Trevino.
