OBITUARY SIMONE B PORTER January 29, 1935 – November 20, 2018 Simone ‘Chickie’ Porter, 83, of Dixfield, passed away after a long fought battle with COPD on November 20, 2018. Simone was born in Rumford, Maine on January 29, 1935, the daughter of Albani Breau and Irene (Cayer) Burns of Rumford. Simone married the love of her life and best friend, Richard “Dick” Porter in 1962.

This year they celebrated 56 years of marriage. Simone touched many lives and will be remembered as a wonderful, loving woman who absolutely adored her family. She enjoyed her crafts, visiting with friends and family, along with her trips cross-country to more temperate climate during winter.

She is survived and will be greatly missed by her husband, Richard Porter of Dixfield; daughter, Karen Labbe and companion Kim of Florida, sons, Tim Roy and wife Sally of Mexico, Gary Porter and wife Lisa of Texas, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, an infant son and her brother, George Breau. A celebration of Simone’s life is being planned for the spring.
