Sister Anita’s Obituary Sister Anita Marie Robertson, SL, age 87 of Nerinx, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019 at the Loretto Motherhouse Infirmary. She was born September 1, 1931 in Denver, Colorado to the late Charles Joseph and Emilie Berthouldt Robertson. She entered religious life October 13, 1950 and received her final vows August 15, 1957.

She graduated from Colorado State College in 1950 and earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Webster College in Saint Louis, Missouri in 1961. Her assignments were in Cape Gerardeau, Missouri; El Paso, Texas; Bernalillo, New Mexico; Saint Louis, Missouri; Denver, Colorado and Vallejo, California. She also taught in Kentucky at Saint James in Elizabethtown in 1954, Saint Benedict in Louisville in 1959 and Saint Augustine in Lebanon in 1962.

She retired to the Loretto Motherhouse in 2010. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the Loretto Motherhouse Church, 515 Nerinx Road, Nerinx. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery.

A wake will be held at 6:30 PM Wednesday at the Motherhouse.
