~ In Loving Memory of ~ Sixta De Madrid Sixta De Madrid age 87 of Hegewisch passed away on May 13, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Sixta came to the United States in 1975. She was known as a very generous and kind person.

She loved giving all she could to friends and family. Sixta loved gardening, and her bird “La Pelona”. She was a hardworking individual who always put the needs of others before her own.

Sixta was a unique and caring person, and she touched the lives of many. Sixta was the youngest of 7 siblings and she outlived all of them. Beloved daughter of late Jose and Guadalupe Aguilar, beloved wife of late Blas Madrid, loving mother of Jose Madrid, cherished grandmother of Jocelyn, Christopher, and Josue.

Dearest great-grandmother of Ava, Audrina, Alexis, Lilliana, Joshua and Adrian. Loving sister to seven brothers and sisters. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 3 PM until 9 PM at Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch, 13300 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666). Prayer service to commence at 7 PM with Rev.

Moises Mendoza officiating. Interment Private. Sixta will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
