Sonia (Fristock) Hauptman, 80, of Oglesby, died on Monday, December 24, 2018 at Heritage Health in Peru. Private burial will be at St. Hyacinth Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Prey-Mueller Funeral Home in Oglesby.

She is survived by 3 children, Vicki (Joe) Baima, Rick Hauptman, and Kelly Hauptman, 4 grandchildren, Nicole Boner-Hauptman, Angella Greenwood, Amie Alvarado, and Ryan Hauptman, 5 great grandchildren, a sister, Mary Rundle, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Victor, 3 sisters, Clara Zielinski, Virginia Knutson, and Margy Kalman, and 4 brothers, Peter, John, Edward, and Florian Fristock. Memorials may be directed to IVAR or the donor’s choice.
