OBITUARY Sonya Rose Okun February 19, 1930 – December 28, 2018 Sonnie Okun, 88, of Kings Point, passed away peacefully in the early afternoon of December 28, 2018, surrounded by her family. Sonnie was many things to many people, but became most affectionately known as Grandma to almost everyone. Her strength, resolve, and love are, and always will be, a beacon and inspiration.

She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Charles “Bob” Okun, and her granddaughter, Alla. She is survived by her children, Lynn and Scott [Sally]; her grandchildren, Lorin [Daniel], Stacey, Adam [Shelby], and Lena [Allan]; and her great-grandchildren, Justin, Eric, Nathan, Lucas, Crosby, and Alana. Services will be held at Riverside-Nassau North Chapel at 9 AM on Sunday, December 30.

Donation may be made in Sonnies memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Animal Welfare League, Kilmarnock, VA.
