OBITUARY Sophie Kudrzycki January 24, 1932 – October 4, 2018 Sophie Kudrzycki age 86 of Toms River died Thursday October 4th. She owned and operated the West End Tavern, Irvington before retiring and prior she owned and operated Sophie’s Confectionery, Irvington. She was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe R. C. Church, Berkeley Twp.

and a member of the Polish American Club of Toms River. Born in Lodz, Poland she immigrated to the United States in 1965 living in lower Manhattan before moving to Irvington in 1967 and to Toms River in 1994. She was predeceased by her husband Richard in 1994.

Surviving is her son Chris and his wife Sophie of Andover, her daughter Hanna Greene of Toms River, 2 grandchildren Katie Kudrzycki O’Toole and Susan Kudrzycki, 6 great grandchildren Emily, Hailey, Ashley, Christopher, Ryan and Riley. Visiting will be Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Rd. Toms River.

A Mass of Christian burial will be offered 10:30 AM Monday at St. Maximilian Kolbe R. C. Church, Berkeley Twp. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
