Williams passed away at his home in Wellington on Thursday, March 14, 2019. He was 87. Stanley was born June 25, 1931 in Washington, Utah the son of Issac and Cecelia Williams.

He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. He married Mary Lou Zehner in Reno, Nevada on February 26, 1955. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was a past Grand Master and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a past Grand Patron.

Stanley enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou; his step-sons, Jeffrey and Robert Townsend; his daughters, Roberta and Jenny; his brother, Ray; and his 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a step-daughter, Judith, a brother, Leon and sister, Cecelia.

A Celebration of his Life will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the Kerak Shrine Temple, 4935 Energy Way Reno. Family asks that those attending do not wear black but wear Spring colors. Also in Lieu of Flowers the family suggests donations to either the Shriner’s Children Hospital or American Parkinson Disease Association.
