Stanley M. Kulbok, age 57, passed away in his mother’s Walpole, Massachusetts home on Thursday, May 9, 2019. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on July 21, 1961, he was the son of Peter P. and Mary M. (Myers) Kulbok. He was raised in Walpole, graduating from Walpole High School with the Class of 1978.

Stan, following in his father’s footsteps, continued his education at Northeastern University, earning his bachelor’s degree in 1982. Following graduation, Stan worked various jobs, including serving as the supervisor for the janitorial staff at Southwood Hospital in Norfolk. In 1987, Stan took a position with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Correction, working as a Correction Officer at MCI Norfolk.

He continued to make his home in Walpole, where he and his former wife, Debbie Bergamo, raised their children together. On November 5, 2016, Stan married his wife, Stephanie L. Fraser, inviting all their close friends to celebrate with them in Medway. Together, Stan and Steph made their home in Medway and Stan retired from the Norfolk Prison later that same year.

While his new home was in Medway, as a devoted son, Stan ensured that he returned to Walpole daily, to take care of his mother’s home and anything she may need. Without question, Stan was a devoted New England Sports Fan. He loved following the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox though all of their seasons and was overjoyed at seeing them both win championships.

Second to sports, Stan loved movies, both watching and quoting them. He was always quick with a joke and loved making his friends and family smile. Most of all, he treasured the time spent with those he loved, always sharing his contagious laugh.

Beloved husband of Stephanie L. (Fraser) Kulbok. Loving father of Jeremy Bergamo and his wife, Deanna, of Florida, Angela Colbert and her husband, Jesse, of Norton, Dylan Kulbok of Milford, and Natalie Colageo of Medway. Cherished grandfather of Anthony Bergamo, Brady Bergamo, and Cameron Bergamo.

Devoted son of Mary M. (Myers) Kulbok of Walpole and the late Peter Paul Kulbok. Brother of John Tucker and his wife, Eileen, of Naples, Florida. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Stan’s Life Celebration, wearing your favorite Boston sports team t-shirt or jersey, on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 4 to 8 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole.

Funeral services and interment will be private at the request of Stan’s family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
