Stanley “Stan” John Sierotowicz Life of the Party – Stanley “Stan” John Sierotowicz, age 62, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of New Cumberland, died unexpectedly while vacationing with his family at the Jersey Shore on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. Stan was born on Saturday, December 17, 1955 in Mechanicsburg to the late Joseph Frank Stanley Sierotowicz and Alice Eugenia (Sheehan) Sierotowicz. Stan’s survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Terry Lynn (Mulligan) Sierotowicz; his three sons: Robert “Bob” Sierotowicz of New Cumberland, Shawn Sierotowicz and his wife, Lindsey, of Portland, OR, Christopher “Chris” Sierotowicz and his wife, Samantha, of Lewisberry; his three sisters: Mary Ann Starr, Carolyn Nilsen, Fran Sierotowicz; his brother, Joseph Sierotowicz; his beloved dogs, Bella and Baxter; and several nieces and nephews.

Stan graduated from Trinity High School as part of the class of 1973 and from Temple University in 1979 with a degree in Physical Therapy. He worked as a physical therapist for his entire professional life and most recently as an in-home physical therapist for Affilia Home Health (formerly Pinnacle Home Health) where he was fondly known as “Stan the Man”. Stan enjoyed entertaining and was always the life of the party.

He enjoyed swimming in his pool especially with his beloved dogs, Bella and Baxter. He also enjoyed playing pepper in the front yard and of course playing with his favorite toy, a canary yellow Porsche, which he kept in his man cave. Stan was a huge fan of all the Philadelphia sports teams who especially loved to watch the Philly’s and the Eagles.

He proudly coached his sons’ soccer and baseball teams. Stan choose to see the positive in the world. He was a wonderful father who taught his three sons what it means to be a good man and a good husband by living his life as both.

His time here was far too short but his legacy and love will live on, forever. All are welcome to join Stan’s family at his viewing on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m. at Myers – Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Cremation will follow and be private.
