Born, Stanley Michael Suchenicz known to his loved ones as Chippie, in Holyoke, Ma. on June 19, 1938 he was one of 7 siblings born to Stanislaw Suchenicz & Albina Mochon. He was once voted as the cutest baby of Holyoke in 1938.

In Stanley’s adolesents year’s he was an avid swimmer and boxer at Holyoke Boys Club of America. Graduating from both Holyoke High School and Holyoke Community College. Stanley was one of the 1% who served his country in the U.S Navy on the USS Waccamaa as a Boiler Technician.

Stanley then went on to work for Westover AFB for 15 years as a Boiler Technician until he retired. Stanley was an advocate of all New England sports teams, he was a member of American Veterans Association, American Boys Club Association, Treasury of the Men’s bowling league and Mix league. He also coached Pee-Wee football, Men’s softball and touch-football leagues.

He won numerous awards for his artwork and woodwork that is displayed throughout the city of Holyoke, and Chicopee, Ma. Stanley was devoted to his family, his passion for nature involved walking, hunting, fishing, and camping. He revealed his positive outlook on life for those fortunate to spend time with him.

Stanley will be remembered for his love of his family, skillful cribbage playing and experimenting with cooking recipes on his family. He was united in holy matrimony to his devoted wife Joan Marie Veroneau on June 9, 1962 at Precious Blood Church in Holyoke Ma of 56 years, to this union of three children were born, Lisa, Dawn and Brian. He will be greatly missed by Donna Henderson his daughter in law Tracie Suchenicz, eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Michael, Alyssa, Shane and Brenna Suchenicz, Keri, Robert Quinlan, and Heather Leitl.

; 3 great grandchildren, Daven, Tessa and Vanessa Suchenicz. Stanley’s memories will be cherished by his sister, Joan Sadiekerski, and brother’s Thomas, Donald and Michael Suchenicz, He will be truly missed by his in laws Joseph, Antoinette, Laura, Susan, Janet Ranghelli. His love and generosity will be missed by countless nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Stanley rejoiced on May 7, 2019 with his Parents granddaughter, Haley Rose Suchenicz, Brother Dennis Suchenicz, and Sister Alice Chapin in Heaven. A celebration of life will be held at Dillon Funeral Home 124 Chestnut Street Holyoke, Ma 01040 on Wednesday May 15, 2019 from 11:30 to 1:30 followed by military honors at the Agawam Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Agawam Ma.
