Stella Bubaris ( nee Christopher ), 89 of Perrineville, formally of Perth Amboy and Woodside Queens, NY, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at her residence. Stella was born and raised in Perth Amboy. She moved to Woodside, Queens with her late husband John, where they were the Owner / Operator of a Dry Cleaners and later she was the Office Manager of Sklar Surgical Supplies, Woodside Queens, NY.

She was a parishioner of Catherine & St. George Greek Orthodox Church and a member of the Ladies Philoptochos Society, Astoria, Queens. She is preceded in death by her devoted husband John Bubaris, who passed away in 2014; loving daughter of James G. and Katherine ( nee Kargas ); dear sister of George Christopher and Grace Kumaras. She is survived by her beloved sister Mary Arianas; adored Godmother and aunt of many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 11 am at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Perth Amboy. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Trenton. Arrangements are entrusted to the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy.
