Stella E. Kalbach, 87, of Orangeville, and formally of Berwick, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at the Gardens at Orangeville, where she has been a resident since 2015. Stella was born Oct. 30, 1931, in Berwick, a daughter of the late William and Sadie (Sickler) Hunsinger.

Stella was a graduate of Berwick High School. She worked many years at Bloomsburg State Teachers College from where she retired. Stella’s hobbies were playing bingo and pinochle.

Stella was a member of First United Church of Christ. Stella is survived by three children: Karen (Charles) Koch of Vanwert, Ohio, Kim Fogelsanger of Shippensburg, Timothy Kalbach (Barbara) of Dupont; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Donna Hunsinger, of Berwick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton J. Kalbach, who died on July 22, 2006.

Memorial services will be May 11, 2019, at 11 a.m. from First United Church of Christ Church, 301 W. Second St., Berwick. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut Street. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Church in her memory.
