Obituary for Stephen Charles Townzen Stephen Charles Townzen, age 62 of St. Louis formerly of Edwardsville, passed away Saturday November 10, 2018, at St. Louis University Hospital. Steve was an icon in the remodeling business. He was born November 7, 1956 in Alton, Illinois the son of the late Donald and Mildred (Walker) Townzen.

He married Alice Miceli. He is survived by Alice and his four wonderful children, two daughters Samantha Townzen of St. Louis, formerly Edwardsville, and Alexandra “Lucy” Townzen of St. Louis and two sons, Stephen C. Townzen Jr. and William A. Townzen both of St. Louis; One brother, David B. Townzen and wife Roschelle of Edwardsville; and one sister, Donna Lynn Rezabek and husband Marvin of Chandler, Arizona. Steve had a larger than life personality which was expressed in his passions for African safaris, bird hunting in Argentina and his extensive collection of books about World War II.

His biggest passion in life was always his children. He took great pride and joy in being a dad. Following cremation, a memorial visitation will be held from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Weber and Rodney Funeral Home.

A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Glen Thomas officiating. Memorials may be given to the family. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Stephen Charles Townzen please visit our Sympathy Store.
