Kerbacher, Sr., 80, of Bath, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 21, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. Stephen and his wife, Helen (Cesanek), would have celebrated 54 years of marriage on January 30th. Born October 11, 1938 in Bath, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Schrammel) Kerbacher.

Stephen worked as a supervisor for George A. Maker & Sons for many years. He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Stephen was an avid hunter and enjoyed 50 years of hunting in Potter county.

He also enjoyed taking fishing tips in Canada. He was a member of the American Legion Post 470, Bath and a life member of the NRA. Survivors: wife, Helen; daughter, Stephanie; son, Stephen, Jr. and wife, Kathy; granddaughter, Ashlee; sisters, Anna Rosenberger and her husband, Donald, Margaret Hudsco and Frances Nagy and her husband, Emmerick; brothers, John and Richard and his wife, Lois; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Stephen was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph III and William and sister, Mary Bernatovich. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 29th at 10:00 a.m. in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 22nd St. and Washington Ave. , Northampton.

Family and friends may call Saturday from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow with military honors in the parish cemetery. Online condolences may be submitted above.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be presented to the church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital c/o Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton in loving memory of Stephen.
