Obituary for Stephen Kent Barker Stephen Kent Barker, 71, of Jonesville, VA passed away on December 3, 2018, at Silas Creek Rehabilitation Center in Winston-Salem, NC, following a brief illness. He was born in Pennington Gap, VA on June 26, 1947, to the late Arthur Willard Barker and Ruby Faye (Jones) Barker. Stephen was a graduate of Jonesville High School and of Carson Newman University.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of the American Legion and of the DAV. He is survived by several cousins. Stephen’s wishes were to be cremated.
