OBITUARY Steve Carl Magniez May 25, 1947 – December 31, 2018 Steve Carl Magniez, age 71, of Hilmar, California passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018. He was born May 25, 1947 in California to Carl and Angeline Magniez. Steve is survived by: his wife Teresa Magniez of Hilmar; son Brian Magniez of Hilmar; daughter Renee Long of Hilmar; daughter Andrea Long of Hilmar; sons-in-law Doug Long and Don Long of Hilmar; sister Jeanne Winton of Livingston; grandchildren Alan Magniez, Griffin Long, Troy Long, John Tavares, Katelyn Long, Marissa Magniez, Haley Tamboro, Roman Young; and great-grandsons John “JJ” Tavares and Hunter Tavares.

A memorial service will be held for Mr. Steve Carl Magniez at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service: 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, California. He will be laid to rest following the service at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery: 32053 McCabe Road, Santa Nella, California. Serving as pallbearers are Alan Magniez, Griffin Long, Troy Long, John Tavares and Roman Young.

Honorary Pallbearers are great-grandsons John “J.J.” Tavares Jr. and Hunter Tavares. Services for Steve Magniez are under the care of Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service (FD504) in Turlock, California.
