Steve’s Obituary Broome (Schoharie County): Steve Christopher Martin 48, of Gates Hill Rd. , Town of Broome, NY passed away suddenly on Monday, May 6th, at his home after being stricken. Steve was born February 12, 1971 in Anaheim, California where he also received his education.

His physical limitations prevented him from full time work but found happiness puttering around the house. He has lived with the Bender and Rechmitzer family for the past 12 years. He is survived by his father, a daughter Whitney, and a brother Robert along with his longtime companion, Robin Rechnitzer and her brother, Douglas Bender both of the Town of Broome.

A viewing and period of visitation will be held from 1-2 PM on Friday, May 10th at the Langan Funeral Home, 327 Main Street Schoharie. A brief graveside service will follow in the Lutheran Cemetery Schoharie.
