Obituary for Steve Kippur Steve Kippur, Yisrael ben Motel Gedalya a”h. Steve Kippur left this world in the early morning of April 20, 2018. He was born and raised in Denver, but left a tremendous mark on his adopted hometown of Tucson.

Steve is survived by his brother Gary Kippur and family (Gary’s wife Tandy, and their children Jamie & Christian Yoder and Andrea Kippur), his children Shelly Kippur, Dani & Jeremy Rovinsky, Andrew Kippur, Rachel Kippur, and Jordan Kippur, and 7 grandchildren: Shelly’s children Laila Rose and Kobe Avram Travis, and Dani’s children Yehudah Aryeh, Meir Shalom, Yedidya Simcha, Asher Baruch, and Devora Rovinsky. Steve had an easygoing personality and was a true baal chessed – his life revolved around giving to his family, his friends, and the Jewish community in Tucson and beyond. He sat on many boards of Jewish institutions and provided dedication, humor, creative leadership, and vision.

His passion for Jewish education and endless commitment to helping others will live on in his children and grandchildren.
