Steven Adams January 14, 1941 – December 19, 2018 Share this obituary Local Florists Upload Photo| Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Steven Robert Adams, age 77, of Isle, Minnesota passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 19th, 2018 in Onamia, Minnesota. He was born January 14th, 1941 in Fairfield, California to John and Geraldine (Bogganstos) Adams. He married his brown-eyed beauty, Mary Evans on March 22, 1964.

Steve was a graduate of Washington High School of Brainerd, MN Class of 1960. He spent his time after high school operating the Starlite Club in Baxter, MN. He eventually began working for his uncle Nick at Lindy/Little Joe Inc. fishing tackle where he worked for over 30 years which he took great pride and interest in.

Steve had a passion for the outdoors his entire life and enjoyed hunting, trapping and fishing to which he passed on to the rest of his family. He enjoyed the wildlife surrounding his home, gardening, driving his 1977 Camaro, working on projects outside, and spending time with his wife and family. His stories, sense of humor, and charming smile- all which he carried with grace until the end, will be missed by many.

Steve is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Chad (Tammi) Adams, Denise (Scott) Elling, Neil Adams; Sister, Kris (John) Dieter; grandchildren, Erica & Austin Adams, Derek & Cadence Elling. Nephews, nieces, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father and mother John and Geraldine Adams, infant sons Brett Adams and Brent Adams, brother John Adams and uncle Nick Adams.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 29th at 11 am with visitation starting at 10 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Aitkin, MN with luncheon to follow service at the Church. Burial will be at the Sunset Cemetery in Isle. Casket bearers are Chad Adams, Neil Adams, Austin Adams, Derek Elling, John Dieter, John Adams and honorary casket bearers are his granddaughters Erica Adams and Cadence Elling, just as he wished.
