Obituary for Steven Arthur Mickelsen Steven A. Mickelsen, age 61 of Katy, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 14, 2019. Steve was born in Penn Yan, NY on August 2, 1957 to Arthur and Dorothy (Carroll) Mickelsen. Steve graduated from Penn Yan Academy class of 1975 and served in the United States Army.

He worked in the construction industry in Texas. Steve is survived by his daughters, Jennifer of Norman, Oklahoma and Jessica of Katy, Texas; siblings Sandra (Gary) Banas, Stacey (Dale) Mitchell of Penn Yan, Scott (Deanne) Mickelsen, and Spencer (Rebecca) Mickelsen of Canandaigua, several nieces, nephews and cousins, Aunt and Uncle Donald and Pauline Carroll. Steve was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Dorothy Mickelsen.

He was loved and will be dearly missed. A private celebration of his life will be at the convenience of his family in Spring. Memorial contributions may be made to ones choice.
