OBITUARY Steven Dale Cannon January 30, 1959 – December 9, 2018 Steven Dale Cannon, 59, of Glasford, IL passed away peacefully at OSF St. Francis Hospital on Sunday December 9, 2018. His children were by his side as he passed due to a combination of long illnesses. Steve was born on January 30th, 1959 in Peoria, to David F. and Lorraine (Parson) Cannon.

A man of many talents, Steve will be remembered as an accomplished artist with talents ranging from working in: metal, wood, glass, drawing, etching, and more. Steve will also be remembered as a Boilermaker from Local 60 from which he regretfully retired when he became ill. He learned many of his life skills as a Boy Scout on his trips to Philmont.

He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed time boating and canoeing with family and friends. Steve was an ornery character who was always up to something interesting, he was sometimes known for being a little too interesting. His humor and laughter will be missed by all those who loved him.

He leaves behind his mother Lorraine Cannon of Mapleton, IL, his brother David (Becky) Cannon of Peoria, IL, his daughter Kathy Jo (Gus) Hatch of White Heath, IL, his son Maxx Cannon of Mapleton, IL, 4 grandchildren, and companion of 10 years Sue Warden. He was preceded in death by his father and sister Linda Long. Funeral services will be Friday, Dec.

14, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Maple Ridge Cemetery.
