Obituary for Steven John Lewkowicz Steven John Lewkowicz passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 with his family at his side. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 12, 1965. He was a lifelong resident of Romulus, Michigan.
Steven was employed in the metalworking industry. He started his career as a draftsman at Livonia Magnetics. Early on he worked at Airmet Industries refurbishing and selling machine tools.
His favorite job was to sell and install digital readouts for Quality Systems, located in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan. He had many other jobs in his metalworking career. His last employment was with Pyxis Technologies, an automotive supplier, in Plymouth, Michigan.
In addition to his full time job, he ran a company part time, Mechanical Technical Services. He enjoyed playing euchre, boating and water & snow skiing. Spending time with family was a priority, and maintaining the family homestead was important to him.
He is survived by three sisters, Stephanie (Larry) Kortz, Sherylyn Satterlee, and Mary (Joseph) Anderson, three brothers, Michael (Dawn) Lewkowicz, Mark (Candace) Lewkowicz and Paul Lewkowicz. Steven is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents John Benjamin & Pauline Katherine Lewkowicz, and brothers Joseph P. and John David.
He will lie instate at Crane Funeral Home from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday, November 26, 2018. On that day family and friends will share memories at 7:00 pm. The funeral service will start on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, with visitation from 9:30 am to 10:30 am with prayers at 10:30 am at Crane Funeral Home.
