Obituary for Steven K. O’Rork Steven Kelly O’Rork age 60, suddenly passed away on September 26, 2018. He was a graduate of Craigmont High School; member of Second Baptist Church and worked for numerous television networks. Steve was a true O’Rork from a very artistic and creative family starting with his Grandparents, Lucille and Charles O’Rork.
There were singers, painters, craftsmen, photographers, woodworkers and doll makers. Steve learned his skills from his father Bill O’Rork. They worked together at his father’s business Media Equipment Center.
Steve’s work also included: Photographer for ABC, CBS, FOX and ESPN, Director of Photography WJMK Boca Raton FL, Camera Operator Bill Dance “Outdoors”, “Great Balls of Fire”’ “The Firm” and” Biloxi Blues”. Steve also worked for a time as a cook at the famous Arnald’s in New Orleans. He enjoyed camping with his family, fishing, sports and was even was on a two time winning Barbeque team at Memphis in May.
He is survived by his mother Shirley O’Rork , two siblings Shan Criswell, Brian O’Rork, two nieces and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his father William O’Rork. Services will be held on October 3rd, 2018 at Second Baptist Church on 4680 Walnut Grove at 2:00 p.m. visitation at 1:30.
