Obituary for Stevie Keith Jones Sr. Stevie Keith Jones, Sr., 59, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at his residence. He was born on December 11, 1958 to the late Walter Lee Jones, Jr. and Nannie Kate Price Jones. Stevie was united in marriage to Ida Dixon Jones; to this union was born two sons; Zachary D. Jones and Stevie K. Jones, Jr

He was baptized at an early age and was a member of the Guildfield Missionary Baptist Church. Stevie was a veteran of the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1988. He served five years as a Chemical Operations Specialist and seven years as a Telecommunications Specialist.

While enlisted he received several awards including, the Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal (3rd Award), Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, M-16 Rifle Sharpshooter Badge and 81 MM Motor Expert Badge. Stevie leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Ida D. Jones; two sons, Zachary Dion Jones (Cassie) and Stevie Keith Jones, Jr.; four sisters, Sandra Scales, Cheryl Jones, Vickie Jones and Crystal Jones; one brother, Kenneth Jones; three grandchildren, Stevie K. Jones, III, Veda Nicole Jones and Nora Symone Jones. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 1 P.M. at Guildfield Baptist Church, 8657 Franklin Turnpike, Dry Fork, VA 24549.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Floral Hill Memorial Park. Wright Funeral Service, 1425 Greensboro Road, Martinsville, VA 24112, is humbly serving the Jones family.
