OBITUARY Stewart Sargent October 30, 1953 – November 8, 2018 Stewart Sargent, 65, of Van Buren, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018 in Fayetteville. He was born October 30, 1953 in Van Buren. He was a handyman, and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict.

He was preceded in death by a son, Stewart Sargent III, and parents, Bonnie and Layton Davis, Sr., and Leon Sargent, Sr He is survived by a son, Jason Sargent of Wichita Falls, TX; four sisters, Bonnie Kay Reel of Russellville, Pam Bennett of Poteau, Micki Edwards of Fort Smith, and Nancy Rich of Texas; two brothers, Randy Davis of Greenwood, and Layton Davis, Jr. of Hackett; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Dyer Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Matt Bennett, Daron Harrison, Clay Bennett, Randy Davis, Layton Davis, Jr., Alec Berry, and Jesse Harrison II.
