Obituary for Stuart James Gibbons Stuart James Gibbins, passed away unexpectedly on July 5th, 2018 due to natural causes. He was a beloved father, and grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his 7 sons Phil, Russ, Joey, Aaron, Stephen, Robert, and Paul as well as their wives and their children.

Our father loved golf, boy scouts and the church of latter day saints. He also was a diehard Utah Utes fan and always wore red Utah Utes clothes. He enjoyed gardening, opera music, and poetry and he was an amazing poet himself.

He spent his last years at his home where he wanted to be and was well taken care of by his daughter in law Christy. He passed there in his home where his wife had passed. He would not leave the house they shared.

Dad was a gardener and loved tomatoes. In fact he was planting tomatoes the day he passed. He will be loved and missed forever by all those lucky enough to have known him.

He brought joy and kindness to the world with his compassion and gentle words. Now he is with his love his “heavens Rose” as he called our mother. They can now walk side by side because dad has his legs back and his mate at his side.

And they are both now whole again. Walk together for all eternity our Angel’s and we will be reunited one day in heaven. Rest well “poperroni”, “pops” We love you dad….

. The Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the 33rd Ward building located at 1100 East 500 South. Viewing will be from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to the services.

Interment will be at the Mountain View Memorial Estates.
