OBITUARY Sue Payne February 10, 1935 – January 30, 2019 Sue Payne, 83 of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away on January 30th 2019. She was of the Catholic Faith and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Health Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Knott, parents, Edward Francis and Myra Steiner, two sisters, Mary Ann Hendee and Catherine Steiner, two brothers, Ed and Jack Steiner.

Left behind to cherish Sue’s memory are her sisters, Shirley Prey, Birmingham, AL. , and Carole (Jim) Tubbs, Knoxville, TN. , numerous nieces and nephews, and sisters-in-law, Movita and Mary Steiner.

A Celebration of Sue’s Life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Saturday February 2, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 on Saturday until service time. She will be laid to rest with her husband, Loyd in the Chattanooga Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Sue’s memory to the animal rescue of your choice.
