Obituary for Susan M. DeMark Pas Susan M. (DeMark) Pas, 96, a resident of William Penn Care Center, died there Sunday December 30, 2018. She was born August 15, 1922 in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Nardilli) DeMark and was also preceded in death by her husband John H. Pas and siblings Josephine Galvin, Lillian Vottero, Frances Beaufort, Johana Drylie, Michael DeMark, and Delores Holtzer. She was a member of Penn Zion Lutheran Church, Harrison City.
She is survived by her children Connie (Ted) Mertz of North Huntingdon, Patricia Sue (Michael) Emich of Penn Township, and John M. (Beverly) Pas of Grove City; her grandchildren Deanna Spillar, Theodore (Deanna) Mertz, Raymond (Theresa) Grant, Jeffrey (Judy) Grant, Candice (Dominick) Mazza, Desmond (Melissa) Johnson, and John R. (Alyssa) Pas; 14 great grandchildren; 3 great great granddaughters; sisters Nancy Polsonelli of Greensburg and Margaret Davis of Jeannette; also numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Penn Zion Lutheran Church, 3417 PA-130, Harrison City, PA 15636, with Pastor Roger Steiner, officiating.
Those attending the service please go directly to the church. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the doctors, aids, and staff of William Penn Care Center and Heartland Hospice for all the kind and compassionate care.
