Obituary for Susan Kay Hobbs Susan “Sue” Kay Hobbs, 75, of Wabash, Indiana passed peacefully with her family at her bedside at 6:59 pm, Thursday, March 1, 2018 at her residence. She was born on April 25, 1942 in Stroh, Indiana to Charles and Marjorie (McLain) Geark. She married on May 4, 1963 in LaGrange, Indiana to Danny Paul Hobbs, he survives.

Sue had been a secretary for Wabash Instrument. Sue and her husband had also been house parents for White’s Institute. She was a 1960 graduate of LaGrange High School and then attended International Business College of Ft.

Wayne, Ind. She is an active member of the Church of Christ at Treaty of Wabash where she loved Jesus and encouraging others. She enjoyed reading, pets, spending time with her grandchildren, and attending their sporting events.

Survivors and place of residence: Husband – Danny Hobbs – Wabash, Ind. Daughter – Kim and husband Robbie Lewis – Macy, Ind. Son – Mark and wife Gay Lynn Hobbs – Lafontaine, Ind.

Granddaughters – Bailey and Ellie Hobbs Grandsons – Conner and Braden Hobbs Mother – Marjorie Geark – Topeka, Ind. Sister – Dorothy Barkey – Topeka, Ind. Brother – Jim Geark – Las Vegas, Nevada Preceded in Death By: Father – Charles Geark in 1995 Time and Date of Services: Following Sue’s request, no services will be held at this time.
