Susan Dale Miller 1952-2018 Susie Miller, 66, passed away on December 28, 2018 after a short battle with cancer. She was born January 17, 1952 in Chicago, IL and moved to Salt Lake City, UT in 1991. She was a very strong, intelligent, determined, independent, and caring woman.

She loved her family, friends, and animals. Susie loved Christmas and old movies. She was an excellent cook who enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends.

Christmas time was a treat because of the vast kinds of cookies she made. Before the internet she was our family’s own personal Google Search. She had an uncanny knack for remembering all sorts of trivia and details.

She was a hard working, fun loving, and well liked co worker and a great friend. Susie worked at Mercy hospital in Chicago from 1978-1991 and the University of Utah 1991 until her retirement in August 2018. During her short illness she met many radiological techs that she had trained.

She was extremely knowledgeable and was a great re in her work. She also loved spending time in the Utah canyons, the Oregon coast, trips to Wendover, and gardening (except for the weeding part. .

) Sue is survived by her daughter Lisa Westbrook (Peter), mother Eleanor Sniegocki, sisters Constance Sniegocki and Kathy Czaja (Scott), niece and nephews Sarah Allen (Sam, great nephews Milo and Oliver), Philip Czaja, Alex Czaja, Ben Czaja, as well as many friends and extended family. She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Sniegocki. A Mass will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 11:00 at St. Thomas More Parish in Cottonwood Heights, UT.
