Suthep Timmy Tangtrakul January 25, 1950 – January 08, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Ringoes: Suthep “Timmy” Tangtrakul, 68 of Ringoes NJ passed away on January 8, 2019 at home after a long battle with cancer. Born in Udon Thani, Thailand, Timmy spent his teenage years playing in a band and loving life. He came to America to finish high school and study engineering in West Virginia.

He found his passion in cooking in Washington DC, where he met his best friend, Omar. Omar eventually brought him to New Hope Pa. to work at Hotel Du Village, where he met his wife to be-Dency.

Timmy and Dency were married December 2, 1979 and opened Siam Restaurant in Lambertville NJ in 1985. Their daughters grew up working in the restaurant which was a beloved establishment in Lambertville for 31 years. Upon retiring in 2016 Timmy helped his “favorite” daughter open the Milford House in Milford, NJ, where his culinary expertise helped sculpt the menu.

Timmy is survived by his wife of forty years, Dency, his daughters, Dollinne Bennett, Jacqueline “Rosie” and Korin Tangtrakul, his brothers, Jeet, Dtaw and Tham Tangtrakul and his favorite in law Kristin Rue. His family will be planning a memorial service in the coming months. If so inclined, donation may be made to Amwell Valley Rescue Squad, 1441 Old York Rd.
