Suzanne Marie Carrier, 52, of Marquette died Sunday, December 9, 2018 at her home. Suzanne was born on July 30, 1966 in Marquette, a daughter of the late Harvey and Nancy (Lyons) Parent and was a lifelong Marquette resident. She received an LPN degree from Northern Michigan University and was later employed by Cardiology Associates for over 20 years.

She was also a previous nursery attendant at Messiah Lutheran Church. Suzanne enjoyed making jewelry and working with crafts. … Read More » In her free time, she loved to exercise, listen to music and dance, bake holiday treats and laugh with her family and friends.

Spending time with her family was the most important thing in Suzanne’s life. She is survived by her husband, Greg Carrier whom she married on July 22, 2000 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Marquette; two daughters, Jennifer LaTourneau and Amanda LaTourneau, both of Marquette; one sister, Luanne (Tom) Wilson of Little Suamico, WI; two brothers, Luke Parent of Virginia Beach, VA and Thomas Parent of Marquette; her mother-in-law, Pamela (Daniel) Jackovich of Marquette; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death besides her parents were two brothers, William and Mark Parent.

The Carrier family will greet relatives and friends on Friday from 12 Noon until 2 p.m. in the Canale-Tonella Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Donald Ludemann of Messiah Lutheran Church officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to UPAWS, PO Box 968, Marquette, MI 49855 in Suzanne’s memory. The Canale-Tonella Funeral home is assisting the Carrier family where memories may be shared at canalefuneral.com.
