Suzanne Louise Pews, RN, 81, of St. Petersburg FL, passed away September 25, 2018, after a courageous and graceful battle with Lou Gehrig’s Disease (ALS). Suzanne was born in Leamington, ON, Canada and married the late R. Garth Pews, Ph.D. She graduated from London, ON as a Registered Nurse and practiced for over 30 years in Midland, MI. Suzanne was a Visiting Nurse for many years and later the Home Care Coordinator for the Midland Hospital Center for over 20 years.

After retirement she volunteered for Suncoast Hospice (Empath Health) for over 15 years. Suncoast Hospice cared for Suzanne in her last few weeks of life. She is survived by sons, James and John (Carole); daughter, Judith Mizeur (Michael); grandchildren, Luis, Haley, and Benjamin; and sister, Debra Langan (Paul).

A private cremation has been planned. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Central Avenue Chapel in St. Petersburg is serving the family.
