Sylvia Argo Kelley August 30, 1927 – April 30, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Sylvia Argo Kelley, age 91, was born August 30, 1927 and died April 30, 2019 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness. Retired from Hobbs Green House and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Murray Bedford and Mary Maude Hobbs Argo. She was married to Charles David Kelley who preceded her in death.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jess, Herman and Luke Argo; and three sisters, Velma Starkey, Irene Argo and Lucille Lusk. She is survived by six children and spouses, Belinda Gail and Barry Melton, Nancy Ann and Mike Jones, James Robert “Buddy” Kelley, and David Brian Kelley all of McMinnville, Patrick Bedford and Toni Kelley of Florida, and Jennifer Lynn Huffaker of Arkansas; twelve grandchildren and spouses, Craig Melton, Chad Melton, Shae Fults, Andi Jones, Shane Kelley, Erica Jones, and Elliott Kelley all of McMinnville, Shaunn and Keith Smith of Florida, Nicole Obremski of Florida, Christopher and Charlotte Huffaker of Texas, Krista and Matt Blackwell of Murfreesboro, TN, and Michael and Paige Huffaker of Seattle, Washington; fourteen great-grandchildren, Luke, Levi, Justin, Sidney, Preston, Peyton, Lexi, Will, Lydia, Caroline, Hunter, Kruz, Mattie and Jera; other loved ones, Mike Huffaker, Sharon Kelley and Barbara Roller; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019 in High’s Chapel with Steve Hillis officiating.

Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.
