Sylvia Raquel Samayoa de Kang, pasó a la presencia del Señor rodeada de su familia, el día 8 de Mayo del 2019 en la ciudad de Fort Worth, Texas. Sylvia nació el 4 de enero de 1955 en la Cuidad de Guatemala. Hija de Javier Samayoa (✝) y Carlota Rascón (✝).

Siendo secretaria de profesión, decidió convertirse en misionera para las naciones. Así fue cómo conoció a su amado esposo Shin Ha (Noé) Kang, con el que contrajo nupcias el 16 de octubre de 1979 en Corea del Sur. Seguidamente residieron por treinta años en Guatemala, donde vieron crecer a sus hijos.

Su mas grande pasión y legado, fue el amor a la Palabra del Señor Jesús, la cual enseñó por más de 35 años. Junto a su esposo sirvieron a Dios en muchos lugares, no importando si era uno a uno o enfrente de multitudes. Amaba a las almas.

Se sacrificaba por ellas a pesar de su salud. Sylvia expresaba su amor a través de la cocina y siempre tenia una palabra de ánimo para él que la rodeaba. Para ella, todas las circunstancias de la vida tenían una lección de Dios.

Pero la lección más sublime, era aprender a amar a Dios y a los demás. Su dicho favorito era: “El amor no se conoce por lo que exige, sino por lo que ofrece”. Le sobreviven sus hijos: Sara Rebeca, Grace Resaví, Elizabeth y Esteban Noé; yerno: Samuel Morales; sus nietos: Nicole y Chris Daniel; y sus hermanas: Patricia y Carolina.

El funeral será el día Sábado 11 de Mayo, 2019, en Lucas Funeral Home, Keller. Iniciando con el velorio a las 9 am, seguido por una ceremonia conmemorativa, oficiada por el Pastor Willy Cruz, y terminará con un servicio de despedida en el cementerio Laurel Land de Fort Worth.
