Sylvia’s Obituary Sylvia Lois Nohr, 89, of Labadie, formerly of Poplar Bluff Mo. , died Saturday, May 25, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Nohr the daughter of the late Freddie Levi and Nellie (Kilgore) McMillin was born June 7, 1929 in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

She was of the Lutheran faith. Mrs. Nohr was a Licensed Practical Nurse in her earlier years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and square dancing.

On June 26, 1948 she married Robert Joseph Nohr in Piggott, Ark. He preceded her in death Oct. 7, 2009.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara JoAnne Burgess and Bernie Schroepfer of Krakow, Mo. ; a grandson, Scott Hoffmann of Labadie; a sister Ann Dorris of Poplar Bluff and a brother Fred (Vivian) McMillin of Pevely, Mo. ; and 8 nieces and 1 nephew.

Mrs. Nohr was preceded in death by her in laws, Albert and Mable Nohr and a sister Lucille Gamble. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Service of Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel with the Rev.

Keith Luke officiating. Burial will be held at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
